DTF printing eliminates the need for pre-treatment of the fabric, which can save time and money. DTF printing works well on a wide range of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, blends, denim, canvas and more, while DTG printing is only suited for 100% cotton or cotton blend fabrics.

                                                                     What are UV DTF labels/stickers

 

UV DTF (Direct-to-Film) stickers are a type of adhesive decal that utilizes the DTF printing technique combined with UV (ultraviolet) inks. DTF printing is a digital printing process where the design is directly transferred onto a film or transfer sheet, which is later applied to the desired surface.

  Installing UV DTF (Direct-to-Film) stickers is a relatively straightforward process. Here's a general guide on how to install them:

  1. Clean the Surface: Ensure that the surface where you plan to apply the UV DTF sticker is clean and free from any dust, dirt, or oils. Use a mild soap or surface cleaner and a clean cloth to wipe down the area and allow it to dry completely.

  2. Position the Sticker: Carefully peel the backing paper from the UV DTF sticker, exposing the adhesive side. Position the sticker on the desired surface, aligning it according to your preferences or design requirements. Take your time to make any necessary adjustments before firmly pressing the sticker onto the surface.

  3. Apply Pressure: Once the sticker is in the desired position, use your hand or a squeegee to apply even pressure across the entire surface of the sticker. This helps to ensure proper adhesion and remove any air bubbles or wrinkles. Start from the center of the sticker and work your way outwards to the edges.

  4. Smooth out Any Imperfections: If you notice any air bubbles or creases during the installation process, gently lift the affected area of the sticker and smooth it out with your fingers or a squeegee. Work slowly to avoid damaging the sticker or the surface underneath.

  5. Allow Proper Adhesion: Give the UV DTF sticker some time to properly adhere to the surface. Avoid exposing it to water or extreme temperatures during this initial period to allow the adhesive to set effectively.
